Missionary Methods and the Glory of God

Sometimes you do have to go to the past to see things laid out clearly and concisely.  Sometimes it just can't be said in a better fashion.  This is the case with Clarence Duff's article on missionary methods.  Clarence Duff was a missionary with the Orthodox Presbyterian Church laboring in Africa beginning in the 1920's. He was a faithful servant proclaiming the Word of God for many years in foreign lands.

His article is a helpful and compact articulation of the Orthodox Presbyterian method of doing missions.  It highlights the fact that we go not to build the kingdoms of men but to build the church of Jesus Christ.  The article can be found at the following link.  The article is short but very worth reading.  It is amazing to note that very little has changed in the last 70 years.  Missions is still the work of the Spirit of God using weak vessels to accomplish his purposes for the glory of God.
