Boat Goes Down Off Lagonav

Sorry it has been a bit since the last post.  It has been a busy couple weeks for our family.  We are thankful to have Matt Avery from Providence OPC in Bradenton, FL with us for a few days.  We are trying to complete some of the little jobs left after our recent home renovation.  Lots of progress made so far.  It is always good to fellowship with friends from our "home" church in Florida.

We did want to pass along a matter for prayer.  On Saturday morning a "fly-boat" making its way from Lagonav to the mainland went down not far off the island.  Thankfully the loss of life was not as great as it might have been.  We wanted to wait for some confirmed information before passing this on.  The rumor mill has been going strong and lots of contradictory information has been passed around.  The following link takes you to an article from Haiti Libre.  It is a translation from the French made by the website and is not as readable as it could be.  Right now it looks like 18 confirmed survivors and 1 confirmed death.  Pray for the people of Lagonav.  More posts to come soon.
