The weather forecast is for more hot and sunny weather. But winter is coming and so is Christmas.
With Christmas music playing gaily in the background, the kids and I set about decorating our house yesterday! The kids were ecstatic because we actually had a new tree (thanks Kelly) to put up inside. As you can see from the pictures below, the kids were not the only who got into the decorating! Lego characters were plummeting through the branches of the tree while others were adjusting the star on the treetop. We all laughed and enjoyed this fun time together.
According to the kids, the only thing missing is…SNOW! Guess all those memories of Christmas in South Dakota are still with the kids! And, as one who loves snow myself, I don’t think they are far from wrong! May the Lord bless your preparations for “Christ”-mas this year, too.
