The trusses are up and the roof board are going on. The guys were happy to be making themselves some shade. Temperatures have been in the low 90's every day and the sun is hot here at 18 degrees N.
The carport has been turned into our materials storage area. Shingles, plywood and some new AC units. The interior doors were finished today.
The electricians have worked hard over the last week redoing the whole electrical closet. I can't believe how different it looks. Much safer and now we know what everything does.
This is the new homeschool room. Wilson's former room has had a complete makeover and looks good in white. Chalkboards will go up and now Heather will have a place to setup the work.
The block work is finished but the worksite is still full of tools and working guys. Our backyard is definitely a work zone. Thankfully our trees provide some shade for those cutting wood.
The new addition is really coming along. The windows will come shortly and much work you cannot see has been done. Plumbing and electrical are roughed in and the addition should be liveable by mid next week.
