Here are a few pictures of our recent travels from Haiti back to the US. We are thankful for good flights, interesting experiences and great hospitality.
Here is a recent picture of our dog Thai. She is now full grown, just over a year old. She still acts like a puppy sometimes, but is a great security dog and loves the kids. She is staying with our good friends Randy & Karen while we are on vacation. She enjoys their puppies who will keep her company while we are gone.
They are upgrading the Port-au-Prince airport with air bridges. Looks like the construction is more than half finished. I will miss walking across the tarmac to the airplane when it is done, though.
Captain Elijah and First Officer Ethan piloted our flight from Miami to Tampa. We were seated at the back of the airplane, so being the last ones off the Captain invited the kids to check out the cockpit. They even got to wear his hat. Thanks again to the folks at American Airlines.
For an interesting aviation related blog, check out this one by a Northwest Airlines Boeing 757 captain. I enjoy his pictures and perspective on the industry.
