Merry Christmas from Kaliko, Haiti

Christmas 2008 family picture

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Hopp's in Haiti!  It is our prayer that you would be amazed at the miracle of the incarnation of Jesus that we celebrate at Christmas and that the New Year would find you loving him more and more.

As we come to the close of 2008 we are looking forward to another year of serving God in Haiti.  It has been an exciting and exhausting year.  So much accomplished and yet so much more to do.  But we can do all things through our God who gives us strength.

Do pray for us as we host a team beginning December 26th (that's Boxing Day for all you Canadians out there!) and then a couple more teams in January.  We will celebrate New Year's on Lagonav, our first.

"And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”" (Luke 2:13-14)

The pictures were all taken in front of "our" Christmas tree down at the resort at Kaliko.
