Everyone in our part of Haiti is waiting for the dry season to come to an end. The winter here finds the skies clear and blue. For most of 5 months the skies have been free of clouds and there has been virtually no rain. But that is starting to change. We had some unusual weather while Team Haiti 2011 was here. Clouds, clouds and more clouds. It definitely changes the view and makes the days very pleasant. Here are some pictures from the last couple weeks.
Noah’s ark is still under construction, maybe he is hoping those clouds hold some rain : )
The road is white with dust but the dark clouds hold the promise of some precipitation
On our way into the mountains with some thunderstorm clouds over the mainland behind
Coming out of the Plenn Mapou valley with Lapye on the hill in the background
