We now have a move date for Haiti. Si Bondye vle (Lord willing) we leave on Thursday, June 28th. We will leave our home here in St. Pete on the Tuesday to take our things to Fort Pierce, FL. Missionary Flights International (http://www.mfi.org/) will fly us and our things to Port-au-Prince.Heather and I spent a good part of yesterday weighing our earthly possessions to get ready. We were thankful for the kind help of four teenage boys from Holy Trinity PCA in Tampa. It is amazing how the weight of things adds up. About 1000 lbs of books alone!
Do keep praying for us as we prepare. Most of the things needed have been purchased. We have been able to find good deals on things like a compact washer. Bondye bon (God is good). The kids continue to enjoy our days with our puppy Thai, homeschooling and just playing in the Florida heat.
