We welcome to the clan a new addition - say hello to Thai. We had been thinking about getting a dog for Haiti and found her at the SPCA on Wednesday. We found out since we could not have a dog at D&D that we were not able to adopt her. They said we could have someone else do it for us. The next day we went back and she was gone. Then she was there again when the person who was adopting her found out her existing dog didn't get along with Thai. Then she was not ready for our trip yesterday and it looked like we would not be able to do it. It's an amazing story that we will tell fully later. A good lesson in God's providence and dealing with disappointments. It has a great ending though. Thanks to the Smiley's for helping us out!
