We continue to covet your prayers. We have had a couple glitches but are trusting that God has a better plan than we do. Actually we know he does so we try to roll with the punches. Turns out we could not renew the insurance on the vehicle in Haiti, so we will rent something while that gets taken care of. And the plane could only accomodate 4000 lbs for this trip. That means the items like mattresses, tables and chairs will have to wait until next week. It will likely have to go into the customs warehouse anyways so it may not be as much of a hassle as it seems.
Our dog Thai has done really well on the trip. It is nice to have her with us all the time. The kids got to enjoy the hospitality of the Van Eyk family in Vero Beach including a swim in their pool. They are truly excited for which we are very thankful. God is good!
We will report again once we are settled into Kaliko. We will have internet access at the resort while we wait for our own system to be set up. Stay in touch!
The kids survey the world from the empty truck. Ready for loading.
Our loaders Matt, David and Bob. Thanks guys!
