Mr. Samy's Neighborhood

We live just up the road from the Kaliko Beach Resort.  We are thankful for the resort, since they provide us our power and chance to swim on a nice beach when we want.  The house the mission rents is owned by Kaliko, so this is Mr. Samy's neighborhood.  Here are some pictures from a Sunday afternoon walk through the neighborhood.

The always dry river bed

We enjoy Mr. Samy's neighborhood.  The kids always find something interesting.  It is also nice because we get a chance to talk to various "neighbors".  How did you spend your day of rest?

“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:36-39)
