Sea Fans and Spiders

Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.

It's the end of a good week. The joint training conference for leaders from the churches is now complete. It has been a blessing to again consider the truths of the Scriptures and share our knowledge of the Savior with them. The men from Lagonav return tomorrow morning. Pastor Douglas, Pastor David and I will accompany them to visit churches on the island.

In the midst of a busy week of teaching we have had time to enjoy God's creation. Some of our team went snorkeling up the road towards Monwi. There is a quarry dug out the side of the hill and the road is right beside the water. It is a beautiful blue color. We saw coral, sea fans, many fish and lots of sea urchins. What a wonderful example of God's creation.

We went out for supper at the Wahoo Resort. They are the best restaurant in the area. Our team enjoyed shrimp, goat and fish. We arrived home after dark, talking on the front step. And there right beside Pastor David's feet was a large tarantula. We didn't catch it but will look out for it now!
