The second stage of our vacation is spending time with Heather’s parents in Orillia, Ontario. The weather in Ontario has finally improved some so we can spend more time outdoors. The sun is shining, the wind is blowing and the leaves are coming out on the trees. The flowers are beautiful and there are even folks mowing their lawns already.
Here is Ethan assembling his early birthday present from Grammy and Grandad. It is a 676 piece Lego set. Two days to put it together off and on. He was happy and busy.
Emma with her new horse Sam. She also got a flashlight for her belated birthday present. Now she doesn’t have to fumble around in the dark.
Ice cream at the mall was a favorite. Looks like Elijah is wearing it!
Everyone is helping out in the “back 40”. They kids loved clearing away pine needles, loading the wagon and being outdoors in the sunshine.
Then it’s time for a ride in the wagon.
Emma practices throwing the ball with Papa. She got 36 catches in a row!
Spring has sprung and the flowers are out.
Our boys had a lot of fun with the wagon at Grammy and Grandad's. Here they zoom down the biggest hill they could find.
Supper was great with corn on the cob. The cousins Jake, Kyle and Ryan were over. The “adults” got to sit in the sunroom. The kids were with Grammy and Grandad.
This is cousin Amanda getting ready to compete in her gymnastics competition. It was one of the highlights for the kids to watch the girls do the vault, balance beam, floor exercises and uneven bars.
