Meet Marcie Winslow

Our family is very excited to introduce Marcie Winslow, Missionary Associate for the work in Haiti.  Marcie will be joining our family when we return to the field at the beginning of March.  She is a Haiti veteran who helped on short-term teams numerous times over the past four years.

Marcie is a graduate of Covenant College and a Registered Nurse.  She has worked as a nurse in Colorado Springs, CO for the last 3 1/2 years.  Her work in Haiti will be different but we know God has uniquely prepared her for the task.  Marcie will care for Esther while Heather homeschools, help with the household chores, aid Heather when short-term teams arrive and will even get to put some of her nursing skills to good use.

Please pray for Marcie as she adjusts to living in Haiti.  Lord willing, she will be with us through September of this year.  Our house will be a busy one as we get back to Haiti.

• pray for the setup and furnishing of Marcie's room in her new home away from home.
• ask God to give us all grace as we live together in close proximity and get to know one another better.
• pray for health during her stay in Haiti.
• ask the Lord to give Marcie a growing facility in Creole and opportunities to interact with neighbors and church folks.
