Our comings and goings

The Psalmist is assured like we are that "the Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore." (Psalm 121:8). We are thankful that God continues to care for us as His children.

We head off tomorrow on our last church tour for the time being. The date of our departure to Haiti is getting closer. We are looking forward to meeting the saints in Alabama and Tennessee. Please pray for traveling mercies and an enjoyable time for the kids. They do love to meet others. We also look forward to at least one day off in Huntsville to see the sites.

A funny story about little Elijah from the other day. Sometimes he gets to the phone before we do. He picked it up and said, "Hello Hopps!", and started babbling away. I figured it was my Mom on the phone. When Elijah was done after a minute I picked it up. Turned out it was a telemarketer who got an earful. He probably wondered what language the "person" was speaking! It brings a smile to our faces when we remember this incident : )

Ethan and Emma Grace continue to thrive and enjoy the warm weather. Ethan now says he's "cold" with the air conditioning on in the van when we travel...his blood has obviously thinned since we left South Dakota! It's puzzle mania for Ethan right now and thankfully there is a garage sale here every week behind our house so we can pick up used puzzles to fill his appetite. Emma has a beautiful new smile...she is finally done visiting the dentist and we are all relieved! She has a good ear for language and is picking up Creole well.

Finally, don't forget to the prayer list in the right hand column. We try to update that regularly so you can pray intelligently.
