We are grateful for the team from Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Reading, PA. Pastor Wendell Stoltzfus, Dave Lucas and Jim Kelly arrived here on Wednesday to help screen in part of our porch. It is a wonderful project that will give us significantly more living space - with no mosquitoes to contend with.
They left their homes very early in the morning to catch flights from Newark to Miami and then through to Port-au-Prince. After a brief lunch stop we went to Batimat to pickup supplies. We were thankful to find everything we needed.
The real work started on Wednesday. Here are some photos of the progress so far. After a hard day of work the reward was a dip in the warm water down at the Kaliko Beach Club.
