We have all been thankful for the visit of Ben's parents to Haiti this past week. They arrived last Tuesday on the Air Canada flight from Montreal. It was -23 degrees Celcius when they left Ottawa that morning. The temperature in Port-au-Prince on their arrival was about 31 degrees Celcius. Hot and sunny.
The kids have enjoyed getting reacquianted with Oma and Opa. They have played hard and there have been lots of laughs. We have spent time at the beach, wandering the markets, traveling by boat to Lagonav and just relaxing on the deck. It is a good diversion for everyone.
