Meet Max!

At right is someone else we want you to meet.  Max Augustin is a young man I often use as an interpreter when on Lagonav.  Max is originally from Ansagale but now resides in Port-au-Prince.  He grew up around the Wesleyan compound where missions teams would come.  He learned English by hanging around them.  And his English is excellent!

Max often accompanies me on my trips to visit the churches on Lagonav.  He interprets for me when I preach.  He is also our go-to guy for Vacation Bible School.  His energy is great and he is a great song leader.  Max has a real heart for the young people of Haiti.

Pray for Max as he seeks God’s will for his future.  Jobs in Haiti are not easy to come by.  He missed a chance to work as an interpreter for the UN mission here because he was too young by just a couple months.  He passed all the tests but was just too young.  Life is challenging but Max trusts God to lead the way.  Pray for our brother and gives thanks for the help he is to the OPC Mission here in Haiti.
