We have several friends who work as medical missionaries here in Haiti or are in charge of medical clinics. Cheryl and Laurens Van der Mark are fellow Canadians who have worked at Mission of Hope, about 40 minutes down the road toward Port-au-Prince. Cheryl is a Doctor of Chiropractic who is in charge of the medical clinic at the mission. For those of you interested in medical issues here in Haiti her recent story is very interesting.

Imagine the ball is still in the socket and the rest of your leg is sitting up above the socket and somewhat out to the side.
