Confirmed to Haiti tomorrow

We just confirmed our flights on Missionary Flights International for tomorrow morning (Friday) at 0800 hours.  It has been a bit of a crazy week trying to get these flights and confirm the timing.  We are thankful that God has seen us through all of the details.

I will be returning to Haiti with two other men.  David Nakhla is a member of the OPC’s Committee on Diaconal Ministries and has visited us in Haiti before.  Gordon Zubrod is from the PCA and a doctor.  We will traveling to Haiti and Lagonav in particular to make an assessment of how the OPC can best use the resources at our disposal.

Here are some things you can pray for:

• on-time flights and connections for the guys flying into Orlando.
• safety and good health for all three of us as we spend a week in Haiti.
• details for our trip out next Friday and that seats on a flight would be available.
• wisdom as we interact and help various people in Haiti.
• the people of Lagonav who are dealing with many extra folks coming to the island and the fears following the earthquake.
• good cooperation with various missions and government on the island so that food and water would be provided for those in need.
• God would be faithfully proclaimed through services on Sunday and our daily interactions.
• a new home here in Florida would come to light as Heather continues the search.
