Pray for Haiti 2010.1

This is our first regular prayer update for 2010.  We wanted to send you all a quick update on our situation and let you know where we go from here.

Heather and the kids will likely be in the Tampa, FL area until after the baby is born in July.  Right now we are working on securing housing for them near our OPC church in Bradenton.  Pray for all the details surrounding this and that something reasonable would come up soon.

Ben is planning an assessment trip back to Haiti for next week.  He will go in country with a deacon from the church and possibly a doctor.  Their efforts will focus on seeing what is available, how easy it would be to have other help and to assess where best the OPC can direct her efforts.  Pray for the planning and that things would continue to stabilize in Haiti.

Continue to pray for the brothers and sisters in the churches of Haiti.  Many are suffering - emotionally and physically.  We pray that God would be their sustainer and that the aid flooding into the country would benefit those most in need.  Pray also that their God would bring great comfort to those who are grieving.
