The work team currently with us on Lagonav is halfway through their week of work. And they have been off to the races. The plastering of the outside of the guest house is over halfway done. They have also been instrumental in finishing many of the off jobs left inside. After this team is done the main task left to do will be painting.
Many of you give to special missions projects that the various OPC missions have on tap each year. For Haiti we have the Bibles/Reformed Literature fund, the Musical Instruments fund and the Guest House construction fund. The dollars given to the Guest House Construction fund go to buy materials and pay the Haitian laborers who help on jobs. This time around the fund is being used to buy plenty of cement and gravel. Thanks again for giving.
Seth and Mike screen gravel for the cement mix.
Mixing the cement for the plasterers is a full time job.
The plastering is already finished along the front and is moving along the back of the house.
Along with the work team I also have a teaching seminar happening. The same compound was hosting a World Vision food distribution today.
Pastor Octavius Delfils helped with the teaching on the Covenant of Grace along with a survey of Genesis.
