Hurricane Happiness

For the most part hurricanes bring sad news not good news. While we didn't experience much from Hurricane Dean in terms of wind and rain, there were some residual swells today out on the ocean.

During our afternoon swim down at Kaliko Beach the kids tackled the surf. Elijah napped under a palm tree while Ethan and Emma Grace donned their water wings and waded into the waves. The swells washed up onto the beach and pushed them in, and out, and in again. They laughed and laughed. And we laughed with them. We all needed that today. It really is the joy of the Lord. He who is the Lord of the creation.
