Ethan celebrated his 6th birthday here in Haiti last week. It has been quite a year for all of us - Elijah celebrated his 2nd birthday in Freeman, SD shortly before we moved. Emma Grace had her birthday celebrated in both St. Petersburg, FL and Colorado Springs, CO. And now Ethan here in Haiti.Thanks to all of you who sent gifts and cards. We spend a number of days opening them to draw out the fun. Thanks to Barbara Freeman who contributed the cake mix and icing. It baked up great in our little gas oven.
On the day we had cake, sang Ethan "Happy Birthday" in both English and Kreyol and went swimming. Ethan really loves games too. We praise God for our son and are grateful for the joy and challenges he brings into our lives.
