T+4: Three Days of Work

The team has now completed three days of work and they have worked hard.  After our ordeal coming home last night, we were thankful for the normal one hour drive home.  On Tuesday we sat in stopped traffic for an hour before we got going.  It was dark much of the drive home and not fun.  Ask the guys to tell you about it when they get home.

As you can see below there is much being done.  The pictures on the left are from Monday and on the right from the end of the day Wednesday.  Still two days of work to go.  We hope to get the toilet in, windows all finished up and the door mounted.  Pray for stamina and strength for the team.

We have also had some Haitian guys at the worksite.  Pastor Leon Amicy has his two sons helping us.  They are learning to tile and doing other odd jobs.  There is also a Boss doing the small house on the roof that gives access to it.  The windows were fabricated locally.  He didn’t measure so well so it has been a bit more work than we wanted to get them in the opening.  Typical work site in Haiti!
