UPDATE: Tomas over Haiti

Hurricane Tomas is now passing over Haiti.  The night was rainy but we had very little in the way of winds.  Looks like the southern peninsula of Haiti has been hard hit but we have been fine here.  Still lots more to go but we give thanks that it has not been a deluge here.

It will be a quiet day around our house.  The kids always like it when storms come our way because they get to wear long pants and long sleeved shirts if they want.  It is not cool compared to the temps many of you are having, but you really notice the difference between 68 and 75.  We have lots of food, games to play, school work to do and some movies to pass the time.  All set.
