The Guest House

As you probably know, we won't be in the house at Kaliko forever. The plan is for us to move to Lagonav to do the ministry locally. There is a guest house being constructed on Lagonav, just outside the town of Ansagale. The ferry goes from the mainland into Ansagale daily.

The house would be intended to house our family as well as teams who come down to help with the missions work here in Haiti. We are thankful for the good work that has been done so far, and particularly for the wisdom of several deacons who are helping to determine how to finish the work up.

The house has a cistern for water. It will be powered by solar and wind power. The breezes off the ocean seem to be very regular. No airconditioning but fans will help us to stay cool in the summer heat. Lord willing you can come and see it in person in 2008. The OPC has a Special Project Fund for the guest house if you are interested. Contact the head office at 215-830-0900.
